D&V and fever

Looking for some advice..around 8pm last night I started a violently vomiting and had severe diarrhea. The vomiting lasted until 7am and my last time I had diarrhea was around 3pm today. I was unable to keep any fluids down- I am now able to. I have a fever of 39.5- baby is moving loads, but would you be concerned?

According to the internet, you should seek treatment, but seeing as the diarrhea and vomiting have stopped, you might be OK just calling the nurse and asking for advice. Also, tylenol to get that fever down. Good luck.

I would take an approved fever-reducer, and if you're strong enough - AND ONLY WITH SUPERVISION because I know how it can be when you're sick - take a cool shower to help cool down pretty quickly. I wouldn't be worried, but I would take these precautions. I'd also call and let a practitioner know so they can keep an eye on you if necessary.
