Danone's dodgy marketing of formula

Its the front page story of a big UK newspaper The Independent. Basically about Danone's marketing of Aptamil formula in Turkey, exposing how it has misled mothers and has misrepresented its relationship with UN bodies.

Really nice to see this sort of malpractice exposed and given high profile coverage.

I just want to add that its formula marketing I have an issue with, not formula itself.

Not really surprising unfortunately! I doubt any formula companies are really 'into' formula for its real use - helping babies who NEED it.

I can't believe that online form they have to show if you are creating enough BM. That is crazy false scare tactics.

Ugh.... Very typical of these money hungry, evil, companies who have no regard for human health! Putting profit before a baby's perfect nutrition makes me ashamed to be Irish knowing our farming industry is thriving because our dairy farmers are selling to these companies.
