Hey ladies! I'm so excited to be getting married! I'm constantly searching for cute ideas and DIY decorations for my wedding. I'm a bride on a budget, that's for sure! We haven't set a date yet, but I'm hoping I can pull together an autumn wedding for October/November 2014. I keep imagining tons of fall decor and pumpkins...and maybe even pumpkin pie instead of cake!

I know I have a while to go yet, but just for fun I've been researching venues. We don't want to go over $5,000 for the whole wedding. I think it's doable. I found an ADORABLE little bed and breakfast that hosts weddings. They have a package for 100 guests that includes all the tables and chairs, the linens and skirts for the tables, and even a 2 night stay in their honeymoon suite with a complimentary breakfast! This all costs $1600. Not too shabby!

They have another deal for only 24 guests (we've been considering going small, but I don't know if I can go THAT small) where they give you chairs, hold the reception in their breakfast area, 2 nights in the honeymoon suite, and breakfast in the morning. That's all just $595!! And for that deal, they say if you rent the entire bed and breakfast out ($775 on a weekday, $950 on the weekend) you get the wedding for FREE! So the idea of having lodging for our guests is also appealing.

I have so many cute ideas and I'm absolutely driving my fiance crazy! So this is why I have to come on here to rant and rave about how excited I am to finally be a bride!

I think we're going to go for the "Knoll" package. I think it's so adorable! I've never been the type to want a wedding in a banquet hall or hotel. Just not my style!

He proposed when we went out on a little family picnic. The last time we had been to that park, we were picnicking while I was pregnant. So we went there for lunch with DD and he put the ring in the pocket of her overalls, so I found it while I was playing with her. It was so sweet.

Alright, so I've been looking into decoration and cute ideas for the ceremony and reception. Here are a few great things I found via Pinterest:

My favorites are the pumpkins (especially if we do a Fall wedding!), the mason jars and painted bottles as centerpieces, hanging mason jars down the aisle, and the bride and groom cupcakes! On the fourth picture the thing I like is the branches wrapped in string lights. So pretty!
