DD is picking up any bug going!

Hi, my daughter who is almost 4 has learning difficulties possibly autism. She seems to pick up any bug/virus /infection going. I know when they start out in nursary they tend to pick up lots of bugs but she's picking up bugs and viruses weekly. In the past 4wks she's only had 2 days at nursary cause she's been ill (she goes 3 days a week). She has a viral infection last week and now she's come down with a cold, I feel so sorry for her. Are Autistic children more susceptible to catching colds and bugs?

I wouldnt have thought so no. my daughters have gone through phases where they just seem to get one thing after the other constantly
