Are there any good, fairly sturdy ones to be had? I've had to buy a new one every 6 weeks or so because they keeping snapping! I wouldn't say I'm being overly vigorous using them but the wire neck always starts to bend at the point it meets the handle and then breaks off.

I don't know if ucan buy them singley buy the avent ones are brill plastic handle there really sturdy

I think the tommee tippee plastic ones look strong but ive no experience with them!

i've got a tommee tippee one & it's pretty sturdy :)
there's no wire neck, it's all plastic.
xx

Ive got one from mothercare, it was about £4.50 and it's really solid. It has a sponge at the end too and the end screws off to be a little cleaner for the teats!

I have this one from Boots and nearly 2 years later its still working brilliantly.

The other end cleans the teats.

Thanks very much everyone - how did I not come across these plastic handled ones before?! They look just the thing I'm after.

another vote for TT (only thing I have bought by them that I have no grumbles over!)
the Dr Browns one was awful - bristles on a pipe cleaner spring to mind.
