Decorating costs

So for those of you that like a bit of DIY, do you budget? If so how much do you manage to do bedrooms/living rooms for? Just wanting to make the most out of every penny seeing as we're doing every room up lol

We recently decorated our whole house due to moving in, the lounge cost us without main furniture (sofa's,t.v etc) was about £250/300 there's still a few bits i want to do though.

RU planning to do it yourself or get someone in? We are moving soon and have set aside £5k for getting someone in to do the whole house x

We'd do the decorating ourselves but might get someone in to do the kitchen not sure yet.
