deleting account

hi, please can someone explain to me how i can get my account deleted. i recently reported a thread, however, no response from the admin - obviously we have differing opinions on how this place should be run...this place really isn't for me. i don't like seeing posts full of religious extremists groups - it's weird!!!

They dont have time to reply to everyone, and also they are normal people who put their time in for free, they have other commitments like family, work and so on. Besides I dont think it is up to any but the admin, mods and momtastic about 'how this place should be run'.

If there are groups you dont like, no need to call them weird, just avoid them.

Oh and you can always just not log on.

i understand what ur saying, and respect that people are busy but i've complained in the past over a different thread and again no answer.

i just want all my personal threads off this forum and some help with doing so, that's all. i'm not here to cause problems, i'd just like to come off it and not have to leave all my personal details on here.

Yes, I understand. They wont reply to complaints though hun, they get many many complaints a day.

And I think they probably wont delete your personal threads either, they will say for you to go through them (go to you name on the right, then statistic, then threads) and delete what you want within the threads, again because they dont have time

Firstly, we don't personally reply too the reporter of reported threads because we just don't have time , we never have done.

When a report comes in, we look at it and decide from there, if needed we discuss it as a team and come too a decision as too what too do, it is all done 'behind the scene's' so too speak, it does not mean it has been ignored. We will have looked at your reported and decided that we felt there was no action needed.

In regards too deleting your account, I can do this if you wish, however I can't remove all your threads/photos, so anything you want removing you must do yourself first, if you still want your account closed, let me know and I will do it for you

hi again, i've had a look and can't work out how i can delete threads i've started. i want to get rid of my journal too. help please!

what about the ones people have quoted you on? i can't touch those can i.

like i thought, this forum is a bit dinosaur in it's way of thinking.

i'll go through and delete what i can, then get my account deleted. thanks for your help tasha.

you would be hard pushed too find any forum that would allow you too edit another persons posts as a user, so unsure as to what exactly you mean by this comment, it isn't really helping things

I am willing too remove any threads started by yourself that is of a sensitive nature only if you post the links here, I won't be able too remove every thread you have started by yourself as this takes alot of time

really the only thing i want removing is my old journal bc of the personal nature, i'd be happy with that. the other's can stay.

I'll close your account in 5 mins, that gives you chance too quickly see if there is anything else of a sensitive nature you wish too be removed

Please remember that you are only entitled too one account and those include any closed accounts, so if you did wish too return you would need too use the contact us button as just opening a new account will result it it being banned

Member was offended by a buddy group that has been created by users for a specific religion ... I just want to confirm that publicly since we have been publicly bashed. Member also pointed out a user had been asked to leave the thread because they weren't of the same religion, this would be anti social yes (and not permitted in the rules) and obviously now not happy she didn't get a personal report. Penalties on accounts such as infractions are 99% of the time kept private between admin and user.

I can't close a group down for this reason ... Yes one member was unnecessarily rude and we will deal with that not be told how to or told what we do or don't do when you simply don't know.
