So i have irregular periods im actually coming off the depo its been a yr since the last time i recieved a shot and 8 months since the last one i got wore off. So my cycle hasnt all the way evened out so far my cycles have been one dec one 29 days later in january no period again until the beginning of may. I was told that the abnormally long cycle was just an annovulatory cycle. I have had my hormone levels tested before and they have been normal everytime they've been tested. So as far as i know my cycles are just being weird. Well anyway the reason im am writing is because I think my period is late. Granted i only had two normal cycles and those were 28 days apart im thinking that my period should be coming every 28 days well now im about a week late and scared to test. I partially feell like maybe it was just an another annovulatory cycle. But here's the thing ive been having all these af cramps and no af the last time i had the ridiculously long cycle i had no cramps or anything until i started taking vitex which was about six weeks after my period was due. Im not taking vitex or any other supplements. I also have been really nauseous and some vomiting. My partner is also feeling nauseous and even vomitted yesterday and the old folks say sometimes the guy experiences the symptoms to. But this could be gastroenteritis or whatever. I guess im scared to take a test, it come back BFN, andthen i have to be honest with myself that the depo shot jacked up my whole reproductive system. Anyway to wrap it up im 7 days late, having cramps like the warning ones before af comes, nausea, vomiting, and i have been tired but i work alot so that could just be from that. Please ladies tell me what you think>>>

I think you have to test and know your situation. I did depo for a couple of years. It took about six months or so before my cycle sort of made any sense again. My gyno said that it could take a year to go back to normal. And it never went back to the same as before depo. It made its own new thing. Lol
Dont assume that you're all jacked up. Give it time. And do a test! Your symptoms could be prego or AF. and a BFN doesn't mean you'll never get the BFP. It just means not this time. Dont panic! Stress is the enemy of conception!

Thanks for the encouragement. Well i finally took a test this morning wasnt first morning urine but i dont think that matters much. BFN. So i guess ill get back on the vitex and see if it can wrap this long cycle up. I dont want to lose my mind in this like i did last cycle so i'll take the vitex and leave it be.

I think you should have some tests to test whether you're pregnant or not. It is important to know you body condition. Even if the result is negative, you can go to see a doctor for help. Remember don't give yourself too much stress, give it some time, everything will be fine!

So i figured i would updatel, just because i hate reading posts and never knowing how things turned out because the original poster never posts again. So anyways im now 14 or 15 days late im really not tracking it at this point. I've taken 2 pregnancy tests. One at home, one at the doctors (urine not blood) both BFN at 6 and 9 days late and havent tested again since. I started noticing lower back pain yesterday and over the past few days I've noticed an increase in cm. Its getting quite ridiculous actually soaking through my underwear, im even considering wearing a panty liner just because its starting to drive me nuts, not saying its pregnancy symptoms just noting changes. Anyway I started taking vitex and dong quai and have been taking both for about a week with only mild cramping and some spotting the first two days of taking the pills. I find that quite odd though because from everything i have read online the dong quai should have made my period start by now. I thinkI'll probably test again in the next few days just to give myself peace of mind since the dong quai isn't doing what its supposed to do. I also ordered a bunch ovulation strips and think ill just start doing the opks and temping just so ill know for sure when my period is due so ill know when it is really late and not just when i think its late. I've really got to get better about these things. Well anyways just thought i would give you ladies an update. I'll post the results of the next hpt which im sure will be negative but still i guess its not over until af shows her face so i guess theres still some hope.
