theyre so bad on my legs and its horrible getting all dressed up, theres guys staring on your front then they see the back of your legs and their face makes you want to disapear :( not that i want attention, but you get what i mean :haha:

Never tried it but i couldn't see why not?

I'd buy it if it did, would be nice to wear a bikini next summer, otherwise it's fully clothed haha.

Have you googled it?

hi ladies,
im a make-up artist by trade well was for 8years before lo came along ...... derablend is great at covering the colour of a stretchmark however as you know they tend to be pitted so when the light catches the make-up say on the thigh your legs with look like they have indented scars ....

my advise and what i used to use on shoots is mac face and body as you can blend it more easier and set in with powder and when the light catches the make-up it reflects making the skin tone appear more even .

if you want to try dermablend go to screenface.com and order a sample palet as the make-up is very expensive and if you buy wrong colour you cant return .... the sample palets have a round 16 different colours for you to blend before you buy the colour you need .

if you need any more help give me a shout xxx

Oh god my legs are the exact same. I hated summer this year - maxi dresses were my friend :D. I've got stretchmarks from my belly button to my knees. The ones on my legs appeared after I had Finley as well (go figure)

I'm smearing every cream known to man on my body - even trying to convince Chris to pay for lazer surgery

I have vitiligo, this is where parts of my skin do not have any pigment. It doesn't bother me in the slightest now, however as a hormonal teenager it did. My dermatologist recommended this. However, you do need to have someone show you how to use it, as it is a bit of a fine art. In addition it helps to get exactly the right skin colour by having a professional help you. I tended to make it too thick and dark and I found it a faff, personally, and I learnt to come to terms with what I looked like in the end.

Stretch marks will fade, I promise! I had the most bizarre ones on my bikini line, bright purple and pitted, and you honestly can hardly see them. And the ones I had from Imogen were gone before I got pregnant with teddy. Regular massage will speed things up, my mum works for a surgeon who says it doesn't matter what you rub in, it's rubbing the scar or mark twice a day to stimulate circulation is the key to reducing scars.

honestly ladies if you hate your stretch marks bio oil really helps them fab and if you wanting to cover them i cant recommend mac face and body enough ..... it goes on like a foundation is easy to blend and very easy to set .... i agree it is better to have a professional so you ,so then colour is right and you blend properly .

ive heard laser therapy is as painful as having a tattoo removed not something id fancy .

ive found tones of boi-oil and some fake tan works wonders on them .... i know there hard to deal with ive got hundreds and ive worked with lots of ladies that have them along with birth marks and burnt skin ,and ive found true beauty shines through where they covered of not .

be confident in your skin and remember every one has something they want to hide x

bio-oil never worked for me :(

Ah chick that picture has just put a smile on my face as you look exactly like I do. For some reason I'm comforted when I realise i'm not on my own with the stretch mark insecurities :D Similar to you I only put on 2stone and Finn was 8lb. Bloody pain. Chris says he's not in the slightest bothered by them so that helps a bit - can't wait for them to fade.

Hello winter, my friend. Time to cover up :D :D

Yeah, mine are shrink marks too rather than stretchies. But honestly, the ones on my bikini line were just like that and they're almost skin coloured now. And I did sod all to them, it's just time.

awwww hun im glad you posted that cause now i dont feel alone mine are the same if not worse ..... ive even got em on my arms for god sake lol ......

if there are really bothering you id booked a consultation with a camoflage make-up artist dont book just a joe blogs one as they dont fully understand the art of how to do cover up make-up .....

go to screen face and order some tester palets and setting powered ... then go on you tube for some tips on how to use it .... apply the make up in good light with no tan on .... its all about practise with dermablend hun .

ill give you all the tips you need just pm me anytime .

Just a question- how do you get stretch marks on your legs? Did you have severe water retention?

Does the Mac stuff work on all types of scars? Also what powder would you recommend? :flower:

it works mainly on light scars i wouldnt recommend say on a burn scar or wound scar of size ..... however if you have the time to blend and layer the make-up it can cover quiet well but for bigger jobs or large birthmarks id cover with dermablend as not as much make-up is needed .....

mac do a light reflective setting powder and if your covering a larger area use a primer before applying the make-up .

most loose powders you can buy from say no7 or rimmel will set any foundation applied but using a setting powder like the mac or dermerblend is designed to make the make-up stay put and not slip for that product ....

what type of scar are you wanting to cover could give more advise for the type of scar hun xxx
