Not sure if this is the right place to post. A close friend of mine is having a planned c-section today and is having a large dermoid cyst and one ovary removed at the same time.
She texted at 11 to say she was being taken in an hour and it's now 4pm and we haven't heard anything - I'm starting to get really worried! Does anyone know if it's a really long operation or anything? From what she told us, they would deliver the baby, check him over and then she and DH could cuddle him while they did the rest, but she did say there were quite a lot of risks involved because of blood loss etc and they told her worst case scenario she may not make it?
I'm starting to feel pretty scared! She phoned me last night and said that either she or DH would phone DH or me (they are like our best friends couple if that makes sense)
Anyway...just wondering if anyone can put my mind at ease. I'm hoping maybe it got pushed back if they needed to do an emergency section and she didn't get a chance to tell us, or maybe they're just busy bonding with the little man......I just feel scared in case everything isn't ok! xxx
