Hello ladies

I need some help!! I live in jeans and hooded tops at the moment and I'm fed up with it. I have lost 2 stones in the last year and feel a bit more confident about getting some new clothes at last and not QUITE so much wanting to hide away under baggy things but still not got all that much confidence!

I'm 36, size 12 and 5'4"....any ideas what kind of things might suit me? I just want some different things, I'm completely bored and fed up with jeans but I feel like trousers are too "worky" - I wore them for work from the age of 22 to 34 and I just always feel a bit too dressy uppy in them. I want to be comfy but also look nice.

Please please please give me some ideas, I'm just useless and have no self confidence :haha: I'm really really bored with black and navy as well!

I don't have a massive amount of money - where do you ladies shop? x

Do you have a full body photograph? (Black out your face if youre worried, hehe ) :) X

ok, I found one but I look awful on it....and huge because I'm next to my size 6 mum :haha:

It says the file is too large so are you able to see it by clicking on here? https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10151002592280334&l=fdc7e457bd

Let me know :flower:

Awwh You don't look huge at all honey :) ! Silly Mummy! Haha. I live in jeans myself - So I don't know what to suggest haha. You should go on a big shopping trip - and try things on that you'd never usually pick up!

Im always in black and grey - And jeans. Yet when I last went shopping after losing 30lbs, I forced myself to pick up skirts, dresses, flowery tops.. The lot! haha. I also bought leggings and long tops - Which isn't my style at all usually!

I feel much more feminine now I've lost weight and can wear that stuff, and I'm sure you would too! You shouldn't hide your figure under baggy tops :D x

Thank you - I always feel huge despite losing weight, especially when I'm next to my mum!! She's so tiny, only 7 stone :(

I like the thought of all those things you said you forced yourself to pick up - if only I had the guts to move away from jeans! We're going on holiday for a week at the beginning of November and there will no doubt be some shopping trips that week so I will make sure I try on some different things that I wouldn't normally go for - thank you

Aww that's such a lovely thing to say, makes me feel better! :flower:

What about floral tea dresses with black tights? A dress can often be more flattering if you get the right shape. Jeggings and knitted jumpers?

Xx

H&M have some gorgeous bird print dresses in at the moment x x
