Desperately Seeking Advice

I need some help/opinions/advice if possible.

I'm 23 and I want nothing more than to have a baby by myself. It's not a decision that I have made lightly. I started charting my BBT in January, and I bought my first set of OPK sticks for this March, planning on doing an at home ICI this month.

I ordered 2 vials from a donor at my cryo of choice, and had them delivered a few days before my FF app told me I should be ovulating. I'd never charted my ovulation before, nor even thought about it that much, and being single it's not as though I am able to have sex during all my fertile days just to cover my bases.

So I get the vials and I started testing, but even though my app said it should be my time, I never saw the two lines on the stick. So I did a little research and found out that not everyone can use those sticks and I might miss my window. Admittedly I panicked a little since I am new at this, and used one of the vials on Friday, assuming I was going to miss my window. Saturday came and almost went and still no positive OPK, so I did it again, and used the second vial at midnight. The next morning, I woke up and wouldn't you know, at 8am, I saw a positive OPK! I got another even darker positive at 12:30pm later that day.

I'm angry at myself for not waiting like I should have and basically wasting two very expensive vials.

Is there any chance I could conceive from those two vials anyway? I've been feeling gassy and bloated since the second insemination, and have an odd tugging feeling low in my belly. I'm worried I just want it so bad that I am manifesting symptoms.

Anyone have any similar experiences or advice to offer?

Hey!

Have you had a temp increase to suggest you have Ovulated?

I am still quite new to TTC but it seems to me your second vile might result in pregnancy as you should ovulate 24-72 hours after a positive OPK. So you should still might be able to catch the egg! But you will know more from your temps than you OPKs at this point.

Although just realised you are in a different time zone so probably wouldn't of seen a temp rise yet as I am a bit ahead...

I am still quite new to TTC but it seems to me your second vile might result in pregnancy as you should ovulate 24-72 hours after a positive OPK. So you should still might be able to catch the egg! But you will know more from your temps than you OPKs at this point.

My temp did not raise as I expected it to this morning, but unfortunately that was my fault because I did not get at least 4 hours of sleep before temping like normal. I was so stressed about having used both my vials before seeing the positive OPK that I couldn't sleep. So my temp was still fairly low this morning.

I read that frozen sperm only last for 12/24 hours in the uterus, so if I ovulated Sunday, 24 hours after my last vial, would I have missed my window?

I think it is a close call! I wouldn't stress about it- that won't help. Keep temping and try to see when you Ovd.
