My family is from California, and OH's family & friends are all in New York. So, LITERALLY on opposite sides of the country. We currently live I'm SoDak(Midwest) however we're moving to who-knows-where in July. Therefore, for our May 2016 wedding we are thinking the best option to keep all our families happy is to do a destination wedding. We're seriously considering St Thomas in the US Virgin Islands, so we're making a trip out there to look at venues this May.
Does anyone have any experience with destination weddings? How'd it go? Anything you'd do differently?
