DH posted on FB about being a new Dad, He is so excited...In the excitement I posted the Positive pregnancy test and now I am freaking out! Deep Breath...It will be okay right?? I am only a lil over 5 weeks...ugh why couldnt we wait??

I wouldn't worry! Its your baby and if you guys want to post it -go for it!! Its a time to celebrate;)

As above it won't make a difference either way but its just if god forbid something were to happen, u'd be left having to explain to everyone, which isn't an ideal situation to be in, but its done nw! Just relax and enjoy ur pregnancy. Congratulations btw :)

i think this is a very personal choice as to how soon/not soon you share the good news. I am a very open person and a lot of people already know about me. i haven't on fb yet but *only* because my birthday is on december 15 and i want to wait as close as i can til then to announce to the fb world (which to me is like super official as lame as that sounds lol) my second u/s is on december 1st so i have a feeling it's gonna be super hard to wait the 2 weeks to let everyone know hehe. anyways, what i'm trying to say is.. the reason people wait the 3 months is in case something goes wrong right... well if say heaven forbid something did go wrong, i wouldn't hide that either. but that's me and everyone's different. it's really your own call and what/who you feel comfortable with sharing. don't stress, embrace everything and do what YOU feel is right :)

We have told a few people but i have been very tempted to post on fb and tell all my mates but we decided to wait untill i have a scan to make sure everything is ok after having 2 mc
What will be will be and i dont think u can jinx anything everything happens for a reason and i hope everything will be great for you and your hubby
Congrats on the pregnancy and enjoy xx

I would just make sure that everybody in your family knows as well, just so nobody feels left out; I made sure that my parents/MIL and pm'ed my brother (who is on facebook) before we 'announced' at 12-13 wks (had a previous mc, so waited until then to officially tell the family, etc)

best wishes

Like others have said it's not like it matters. I can see why you'd freak out. It's been the traditional thing to wait until you're 3 months along to tell people. As I am doing with face book and most of my family.

Don't worry about it, you have a better chance of having a baby than a miscarriage.

I done the same! Don't worry. It'll be fine. A facebook status has nothing to do with fate. :]
