Did I miss my surge?

My opk line looked darker yesterday afternoon (cd 20) than this morning (cd 21). I was expecting a positive opk this morning but my digital one also said negative. Could I have missed my surge or maybe it's an annovulatory cycle? Or maybe keep testing? I always get a positive on my digital so I feel like missing my surge is unlikely.
Anyway a fresh set of eyes would be appreciated...does cd 20's opk look darker than cd 21 or am I going crazy?

Cd20 looks darker but it's not taken at the same time of day.I always do mine as close to 2pm as possible, afternoon is best for lh surge apparently.

Thanks! I did one in the afternoon, its almost there but still not quite..hopefully i will get a positive here soon
