Did I ov?

This is cross posted, I hope that's ok. I'm new-ish and shaky about the details of the etiquette on this forum. I'm hoping you guys can give me some perspective.

Fertilityfriend said I oved on Friday 12/16 cycle day 12. But, I never had any cm changes (I check several times per day), and all of the OPKs I took last week were negative (I use them twice per day). Very clearly negative, since there was *NO* line at all (other than the dark control line) until the faintest of shadows on Saturday 12/17, and then just a tiny little veryvery faint line on Sunday 12/18. I used OPKs on Tues, Wed, Thurs, Fri... and yeah. Nothing at all!

This is my first cycle charting. I am assuming its basing things on my temps... but I am so confused! What do you guys think? Can I use OPKs twice every day and still miss getting a positive? Are these things reliable? Any opinions/help is appreciated! My chart is linked in my sig.

I don't chart, but if it is your first month charting, it's probably not going to be very helpful yet. I believe once you get a positive opk or cm changes, your chart will show new ovulation days.
