Did you use a stroller more with baby #2?

We rarely used a stroller with my son, unless it was going on a walk/run as exercise. I mostly used a carrier with him. Did your stroller use increase/decrease/stay the same with a second?

I'm not considering a double. I'm trying to decide if I should get the Chicco Caddy to use with our Keyfit 30. We only have a BOB which we used exclusively for exercise, never for errands or around town.

Or will babywearing still be the most convenient option with baby #2 if it was for baby #1?

I didn't use one at all for DD2. Her first time in a pushchair was when she was 8 months old and she was having a morning out with her Nana to stay preparing for me going back to work! The sling was much more convenient: kept her happy, she could feed on the go and I had hands free for DD1. :)

I used a stroller more for ds1. With ds2 it's very rare I use a stroller. 95 percent of the time he's in a wrap and I never used a wrap for ds1. It keeps my hands free and is much more convenient then pushing a giant stroller while chasing a 2.5 year old

My DD has been in the pushchair 4 times so far. I use a wrap or mei tai. She's fine in the pushchair when I'm walking at my normal pace but she doesn't like it when we go slow and my DS tends to dawdle. She also likes to lean over and shout at him while we walk.

Stroller use increased because we use it with my older child, haha. In terms of using it with the baby, we don't use it more. The one exception is nap time. My husband is a stay-at-home dad and for 99% of naps, he puts our older child in the carrier and walks until she falls asleep. Now that the baby is around, he manages this by putting the baby in the stroller and our older child in the carrier. When the older one is asleep, he brings her inside and then puts the baby in the carrier to get him to sleep since he will only nap in the carrier (or the car... or with me in bed). So far we aren't seeing a need for anything beyond the single umbrella stroller and the carrier.

We have a frame stroller that the car seat snaps into, but we only use it when we are travelling - it's handy in case we walk somewhere and then want to take a cab because it means we always have the car seat with us. At home baby goes in the jogging stroller if I am going for a run, but otherwise I just carry her in the ergo. I can see how a stroller would get used more if you have two children, but more for the older child. You could always put the older child in a carried on your back, and the baby in a sling on your front.

I actually carried my daughter 90% of the time for the first 6 months until I got a double buggy. My daughter walks more than my son did at this age but I still take the buggy when we go out for her plus the buggy board for my son.
