Hey everybody!

How are you all doing? I am 6 weeks pregnant, and hubby and I have finally come to terms with names. We have been thinking of names even before ttc.

For boy Noah, and for girl Emily Louise. Problem is we have a ds and is named Nathan and don't want it to seem like we are doing N&N. We do not really care about diversity with the alphabet but just want a name we love.

Would this be weird?

No it wouldn't be wierd at all and is probably more common than you think. My sister and I both have names beginning with L.
Nathan and Noah don't sound alike either which is good.

We have accidentally ended up with 2 names beginning with A, we use a nickname for DS so it didn't occur to me that we had done it.
I don't think it matters.
Xx

I don't think it's weird or a "dilemma" - Noah & Nathan is cute! I think it's great you guys already found names you love & agree on! Congrats!

I don't think it really becomes a 'theme' until you have 3+ kids with the same first initial.

A lot of my favourite names start with A and I wouldn't be hesitant to use one just because I already have an A baby!

I wouldn't have even noticed it. Not a big deal at all, IMO :)

Nope not weird! I wouldn't personally want to have 3, 4+ kids with names starting with the same letter because then it seems like it was done on purpose (Kardashian style) and that doesn't appeal personally, but with 2 children I wouldn't think anything of it.
