well i had my ivf consultation last week, and looks like wont be starting ivf til next yr, am pretty gutted cos i just want to get a move on with it have another appt in dec with the nurse to talk about the injections and stuff, fed up of waiting for everything

I'm so sorry that you have to wait, I know it hard! It seems like when you are ttc'ing all you do is wait. Good luck, it will all be worth it in the end.

aw hon, I'm really sorry I know how keen you were to get underway with that after all the failed IUIs. The only positive I guess is that if that is how long it is going to take that at least you are starting now rather than having another IUI first otherwise you would be looking at much later next year.

Sorry you are disappointed. Most clinics (around the world it would seem) shut down over the Christmas/New Year period, as it is the only time of year they don't operate, as they really are 7 days a week operations.

I'm taking this time to get in better health and to enjoy the silly season, before my thoughts return solely to ttc!

I know exactly how you feel Mrs S, mine is not until January at least next year. Seems like forever but the minute Christmas is over it will all start. Is it January you'll think you'll be starting too? If so, we can go through this together.

yeah i think it prob will be jan now, so it'll be good to go through it with someone, i'm gonna be on the long protocol. have an appt with the nurse on the 7th dec, so will see what she says

I'm not too sure what's going to happen with me but I think I should hear about my blood results by the end of November, so hopefully they'll be able to give me some dates after that. Here's hoping anyway.
