Idk if I ate something wrong or if these are early signs of labor. I am guessing the first symptom since I ate Gluten today when out and my intestines hurt, but then approaching diarrhea can also be a sign of preterm labor.
Is diarrhea/ digestive discomfort/ abdominal pain alone a reason to worry? I would say my Pelvis hurts a bit but it does that sometimes with bowel movements.
I have no contractions or other symptoms, haven't even had Braxton Hicks yet.

When would I call someone? Digestive problems can last hours for me. It would be good to know how to tell the difference being 21 weeks now.

I would say if you aren't having any contractions or braxton hicks you're probably ok. I'd drink a ton of water and try to relax. Kick your feet up and lay down. I'd say if it keeps progressing or continues with no relief then definitely call your dr. If you are worried at all of course get checked. Always better safe than sorry. The statistics are very low for a preterm delivery something like 3-4% before 28 weeks. Just try to relax and settle your stomach!!

Just sounds like a tummy upset. Diarrhea cramps remind me of mild early labour cramps though.
If you're not having any contractions or even bh id say you're fine. If it continues more than 24 hours though id call up and ask to be checked.

Thank you! It seems to have been an upset stomach and got better. I haven't had problems with digestion since my stomach got bigger so any sort of intestinal discomfort seems to feel much different, like on top and below the bump, which really confused me.
Gluten also seems to bother me more with my intestines getting squished.

Definitely did not have contractions or BH!

I've had something like that happen with both pregnancies now, and almost went to the ER because I thought I was going into labor (I was having contractions when it happened with this pregnancy though). My body just wanted to clean itself out completely, ugh.

Glad it settled down!

It is scary because exactly that is a sign or early labor too.. The mild stomach cramps were hard to distinguish from early labor contractions which are supposedly very mild. I never went into labor so I don't even know what it feels like. ;)

I had contractions (or really strong BH) for a week leading up to when I finally went into labor. My contractions over the week were enough to keep me awake at night, they were every 1/2 hour, but they never got close enough to go in. When I finally started having labor contractions, I got shooting pains down my legs with each contraction making walking impossible.

Tummy upset. I have ibs and I swear I have days where I would rather be in Labour. Try not to worry =)

I have diarrhea/loose bowels all the time with this pregnancy. I'm so over it at this point.

Yeah it was definitely my stomach. With pregnancy the pain seems more intense and just different near the intestines when I eat somethimg wrong. :nope:
