Diy ring sling

So i made a moby style wrap and love it but its just too hot for it atm. So im thinking i want to do a new sew ring sling. Made of linnen.

Has anyone ueed a new sew one? Is it safe? Can someone share measurements with me please. Nylon or aluminium rings? How much did it cost to make? Etc.

I made mine from a tartan woven fabric which is a little warm at the minute.

It's really strong and I have triple stitched all the seams to make sure nothing can come apart.

I used aluminium official sling rings in medium, being plus size I started with 4 mtrs of fabric and then trimmed it down after trying it on so probably 3 mtrs long in the end. Fabric was 60" wide and on mega sale at £3 a metre so less than £20 total with the rings and I cut the fabric in half width wise so there's enough left over for a shortish (for me) wrap or another ring sling.
