Just wondering if anyone has found their baby gets more trapped gas when feeding from a big bottle?

it seems my newborn is ok after feed from a small 150ml bottle but on after a feed from a big one 260ml, she screams and arches etc

any one else found this??

I was wondering the same.. I've got a few little bottles but thought I might aswell just use the big ones and only fill then with what's needed
Ill be watching this thread

Yeah i think thats the point in the smaller bottles at first, less wind to take in

Yep, I only used the big bottles from 4oz onwards, and even then would often try to squeeze 4oz into the smaller bottles I had (90ml ones from boots). When I changed them up I would wind them more often to begin with too.

I haven't found that to be the case with my daughter. I use both the big and small bottles from tommee tippe. I fill the small bottle all the way to 5oz (so completely full) and the same to the larger ones. Also, when I was feeding her 3-4oz with the larger bottles I found she was just fine. Then again, she hardly ever gets gassy. I think when you make the formula cover the entire nipple, baby doesn't really get much, if any, air intake. But like I said, my daughter hardly gets gassy, so my answer might not be accurate, lol.
