Do eastenders forget?

Eastenders is really annoying me, they are showing lauren and staceys storyline, and Lauren is making herself out to be all holier then though, Oh stacey killed archie...er is she forgetting she tried killing her dad?!!!
Im sure there is more I just can't recall right now, thats the biggest annoying one though!!
