My LO is 12wks old and we are in for a long hot summer, ppl have been suggesting I offer her cooled boiled water in a bottle. If I was to do this when would I give it to her?morning/night? Before a feed or between feeds? Also how much? Could this stop her taking as much milk as she is already a fussy eater?

Heya. In very hot weather formula fed babies could probably benefit from a small amount of water. But only 1oz, once or twice a day inbetween feeds. This shouldnt affect her milk intake. When your baby starts having solids then you can also start to offer water in a beaker at meal times. xxx

As pp said, also it can help if they get a bit constipated which sometimes happens with formula.
