So I FINALLY have answers!!!!!!! I could jump up and down and cry!
For those of you who don't know, DH and I have tried/not prevented for over 2 years with multiple losses. We've been to different obgyns and specialists with many ultrasounds and blood tests and all came up with nothing. None of them would even prescribe Clomid because I'm young and "there's nothing wrong with me." It's just bad luck. We all know a 23 year old who hasn't successfully conceived within 2.5 years and multiple losses is not just bad luck.
I had bloodwork done earlier this week to figure out my symptoms that I thought would be another thyroid flare up. They know I have hypothyroid tendencies but not enough to give meds.
My new doctor decided to check my vitamin levels and found I have dangerously low B12 and D levels as well as a raised free T3 level.
I have to start a vitamin therapy regime to raise them, which should also lower the T3. If that doesn't work or I'm too nauseous, I can switch to weekly injections. But both vitamins D and B12 deficiency are linked to infertility and miscarriage.
This could be my answer yall!!
I've scowered the Internet researching and have found studies and personal success stories that after fixing the deficiencies, conceived easily!
I don't want to get too excited because I thought my low thyroid levels were the answer and even after we got them under control through a gluten-free diet, still no luck. But this seems extremely promising to both my doctor and I!
I hope this helps for some of yall as well!
