Hiya Ladies,

Wondering if you could answer a question for me,

Do i have to let my ex FOB have Alex overnight?

I dont feel comfortable leaving Alex full stop in fact i havent left him with anyone not even my mum.

He is on the BC and he walked out.
The whole time we were together he hasnt done any night feeds nor does he know Alex's routine and likesand dislikes.

He hasnt asked to have Alex overnight and i dont think he will what with him been so young and his heart condition but i want to be prepared with the answer just in case.

No, you dont before the age of two, and even then, you still dont have to, and if he does want to, then he will have to gradually build up the time in order for him to have him overnight but as your son has a medical condition, that alone will be enough for you to say no, and be upheld by the courts even when he is past two because of his medical condition.

My sister went through this with her ex-husband. Her solicitor told her that she didn't have to allow overnight access til LO was AT LEAST 3 and even then he had to prove that he was capable of looking after her.

Thanks...........Just dont want him thinking he can come steaming in and take a baby overnight.
