Do I need to be concerned??? Reassurance needed please

Ok so I hope I’m being silly but I just noticed on both my recent scans a black hole on baby’s Head . Initially I thought brain but no other scan I google looks the sane as mine?? Does my baby’s head look abnormal?

I didn't have a scan that early but there are black patches in my daughter's head on her 12 week scan, and less so at 20 weeks the brain looked more fully formed then. The brain does actually have a system of fluid filled chambers right inside it. Also the organs do take on some strange shapes in the earlier weeks before growing into their final shape, they don't start out as a tiny version. The heart actually starts out as a long tube that twists around itself somehow, it's amazing

It looks fine to me. They would have picked it up on the ultrasound appointment if there was anything wrong

I think it’s normal there is similar on my early scan. I’m sure they would have said if there was anything to worry about - wishing you luck

Thanks girls... been doing some research and apparently it could be the soft spot that’s showing.. just got paranoid because my sister in law had 9 week scan and was told everything was fine but at 12 weeks they realised he had a missing skull
