My 1 year old is still breastfed with solids throughout the day. Just before my LOs 1st birthday she was breastfeeding 2-3 times a day. Once in the morning when waking up, once before bed and then sometimes an extra one in the day or around 5 am but these last 2 weeks or so she has been breastfeeding like a newborn again. Once when waking, again 1 hour later, again 2 hours later until bed. She eats 1 slice of toast for breakfast with some fruit. For lunch she will have pasta, sandwich, eggs on toast etc and she eats a good portion(in my eyes) and for dinner is usually a home cooked meal or meat and veg. She will have some extra fruit or rice cakes as snacks throughout the day and fluids in her cup. Do I need to increase her solids and that's why she is breastfeeding so much again?
She has been suffering with a cold and a cough as well recently plus I've just found out I'm pregnant again so I want sure if it was a mixture of comfort for the illness and reduced supply from the hormones? And she has just started sleeping through the night every night instead of just here and there(touchwood lol)
If I sit down she tends to come straight over and try feed and the two occasions I have said no she has had a tantrum for 20 minutes!
So I'm not sure why the big demand for booby all the time and with be pregnant again I'm v tired. Any advice?

It could be a combination of things that you've suggested. I know that around that age my LO was eating like a horse.
6am breastfeed
7:45 - 8am 2 bowls of cereal, toast and fruit
10am - snack (cheese chunks, rice cakes and fruit) occasionally breastfeed
12:30 - lunch (adult portion of shepherds pie and peas)
3pm - breastfeed if we were at home, or snack, sometimes both
5pm - dinner of vegetable stew or pizza/ fish fingers, mash and veg
6:30pm long breastfeed before bed
PLUS usually two 15 minute feeds (one if I was lucky) during the night!

Thanks for reading my long post and replying. I think I might try increasing solids then or at least offering more from what you've said and see if that makes her more content without breastfeeding so much in the day!
