Most people think that 3 meals a day is what everyone needs. I for one, am only hungry for about 2. I don't starve myself, it's just that I'm not hungry. Does anyone agree with me that sometimes 3 meals is just too many?

Everyone is different. As long as the 2 meals you are having a healthy balanced ones that give you all the nutrition you need then its fine. It's just with missing meals, there is a greater chance of not having the recommened daily fruit, veg and vitamins etc.

It depends. All I really know about eating several times a day is when it comes to weight loss. I don't know if you want to lose weight or not. I know that when I used to eat two meals a day (lunch and dinner) I was very fat. (although that wasn't the only reason) I now eat 6 small meals a day and that helps keep my metabolism up.

As for if you are not trying to lose weight, I know I was very fat eating 2 meals a day so I'm sure I was getting enough nutrients. Maybe too much. I guess it depends on how much you eat at a meal. My 6 meals a day put together are far less than my old 2 meals put together. If you find that it is "too much food" to eat 3 times a day, try lowering your portions? I really am not sure when it comes to people of normal weight and how many times they should eat, but I know people always say breakfast is the most important meal.

Sorry for the rambling. I'm not sure if I answered your question or not.

3 meals a day is a minimum. Ideally people should eat little and often, and about 5 times a day.
