Do we just forget all the horrid bits!!!!!!???

I have sat on my bathroom floor this morning and after being repeatedly sick i just cried!!! This is 2nd time around for me and all the nasty bits of my first pregnancy came rushing back, the sickness hardly subsided last time untill the birth!! Amongst a whole host of other illnessess! I am so happy to be pregnant, i just feel so downhearted at the thought of another bad pregnancy, i want to enjoy it and make the most of being pregnant!!!

I'm sorry you're having such a rough time with it. I've had my moments on the bathroom floor, crying with morning sickness too. Just remember every pregnancy is different though so just because you have the sickness now, doesn't mean it won't go later on.

This is my first pregnancy so I can't compare it but I understand you.Feeling sick all the time and tired is not exactly the most exciting thing and I know that I have lots of bad things to experience before giving birth(like labor)but there are also things that I'll enjoy and experience for the first time,these nine months are the most special in our lives and just wait till we get to hold the little one...

I said more or less the same thing to someone at work after being in ladies for around 30 mins being sick i looked at her and said "women really do this more than once"

Well it was either food poisioning or a sickness bug because i felt awful, by midday yesterday i couldn't stop crying because noting made me feel better!!! I am pleased to say i feel much better today just completely washed out and weak!! I am so pleased it was a virusey/bug/thingy!!! I couldn't cope with the same level as sickness as last time!!! So today i feel very stiff (from being curled up in bed all day) and i am very delicate but happy the worst appears to be over!!!!

Aw thats good.. well not good that you had a bug.... but good that it doesn't look like a repeat of your last pregancy sickness.. Keep up the fluids, and try to eat little and often.

Managed to keep a sandwich down!! Really tired and OH has been called into work so looking after my little girl alone, but she is being very good!!! I have got stomach cramps still -(quite painful at times) hoping this is just from the sickness yesterday, very weak and have to go back to work 2moro nd get up at 5.45am JOY!!!

Do you have anything ginger?
Ginger tea, ginger biscuits even crystalised ginger?

No matter the cause of nausea ginger seems to go some way to helping.
My dad used to give me ginger biscuits when I got car sick and I've used them to help morning sickness too.

Wow.. you're having your 8th baby!!!! You must be Super-Mum !!! And here was me worrying about coping with 3 !!

Whats the age gap going to be between yours? I found that it's worked out quite well for me, as one starts nursery, the next is born. Like a well oiled production line

i really feel for you. this is my first pregnancy and i too have cried over intense MS. it's so hard to be happy when you feel sick all the time and no one can really sympathise truly unless they have gone through it too. i wish i could say something to cheer you up but it's tough when you're feeling so ill. the only thing you can do is know that it will end and when it does, you will have a cute minature version of you to stare at!

Even though it sounds horrible, i would love to be getting morning sickness at the moment!
