The first weekend in December must be the popular weekend for people to put their trees up. I was out and about yesterday and all I saw were trees on top of cars and the places that sell real trees were very busy.

Do you have a real tree or a fake tree?

We have a fake one though would love to get a real one. Maybe next year

We've got a fake one, hopefully real next year :)

fake. Dont want to have to deal with all the needles on the floor going into our feet! plus get to re-use every year :)

We do fake, I would love to have a real one but we put it up so early I dont think it would survive !!!! lol

Artificial tree here too. I like to have the tree up for the whole month! Also I think the artificial ones look nicer, no bare patches.

fake tree, we had a real one a few years ago n by xmas day all the bristles had come of n it looked a real mess, i love the smell of real ones tho x

My parents always did real and it was so much fun bc we would go with my dad in the bush and cut one down, but I do a fake one...maybe next year I will get a real one.

We have a fake. If you dont look after a real one right then they droop! Some sellers tell you to leave it outside in a cold bucket of water for 3 days! I think a fake is easier. Both are equally as bad for the environment as each other

We have a fake tree, easier upkeep with the boys lol

We always get a real one. They are just so lovely and it just smells like xmas whenever you are inside. As a kid, me and my sister would pick our tree, we would name it and look after it by feeding it everyday. I don't find the mess too bad, Ella makes a hell of a lot more mess than xmas tree ever could! The only downside is that you have to fork out each and every year, so more expensive in the long run than a fake.

Real- I've never had a fake one. They are amazing and for me it doesn't feel like christmas without one. The whole process of buying it putting it up- its all like a big adventure for me every year, even better with my own children now. The smell is unbelievable!

You do need to buy a non drop type of tree.

This is mine this year :D

I have a fake tree. We spent a fortune on it so it'd look nice and last longer - and it does both, people are always commenting about how nice it is :)

artificial here, i'm honestly not a big fan of the real tree's  the thought of it dropping all it's needles etc! i love putting our 'fake' one up every year!
