Do you know if it's too early to test progesterones levels at 5dpo?

Hi All,

Does anyone know if I can do a progesterone test a 5dpo? is this too early?

I have a good feeling my progesterones are low so my doc. has agreed for me to do a test.
I have been told the best time is at 7dpo but I'm going away and I will be able to test only at 5dpo. Will this still work?

Does anyone know?

Hi there! I was doing IUI and my doc had me come in for testing at 5dpiui, so no, it's not too early, I say ask your doc for a script to get tested good luck!

Most docs will say to do it at 7dpo because that is when your progesterone peaks, but if they know that it is only 5dpo, I'm sure they will adjust it.
