Do you still take HCG after the trigger dose?

I have a friend who takes hcg for the trigger shot, then at 2 days, 5 days and 8 days past ovulation. That doesn't seem normal to me and was wondering if I just don'e realize how common it is. Putting this as a poll, but please add a comment as to how you do it.

I took three more shots of hcg after my ivf (one shot every three days after tranfer) and have heard that some clinics perscribe the same protocol after IUIs.

I do one extra shot of HCG 5 days after the trigger shot. I am currently doing IUIs.
