Doctors: what happens?

I'm not pregnant, and that's my problem.

So I've booked my appointment to see my GP and see what is going on with my body.

What is the first step that my doctor will take?

I am going through so many emotions. Only booked appointment this morning, so I haven't told DH about it. Few days ago, I spoke to DH and he's saying theres no problem.
But booking the appointment is like the first step to admitting that its not that easy for us to get pregnant.

I have been TTC all year and nothing but as I turn 35 next month and the fact I conceived my first on the second month my doc has got the ball rolling (said it would usually be a year of trying)
My hubby has to go for sperm analysis (waiting for the appointment) and I had a blood test on cd2 and have another booked for cd21 (I’m currently cd 4)
After that I don’t know really know myself but wishing you luck x

Hi, I am currently into nearly 3 year trying for number 2 I had bloods done a scan to check everything now I am under a gyno my husband has had a sperm analysts and I am going to be getting my tubes check probably within the next month as my next gyno appointment is the 3rd of September hope this give u some answers x

I'm 30. But I've been off pill for 5 years and we've been proper trying for past year.

MME: what are the blood tests to monitor?

For us, we're TTC #1. So we're like should we wait a bit longer. Should we dtd more. But I've decided to get the ball rolling.

I'm just ready for it I think. Think I'm ready to find out whats going on with my body.

I think you have done the best thing to get the ball rolling as now they will go down the route of check your other half sperm your hormone levels and to check you have no cysts and your lining is nice. I would also be prepped that if you get referred to a gyno and your in the uk your bmi will be under 30 before they consider any treatment incase you need ivf x

Aw yes. Thanks for the reminder.
I've been gaining weight the past year, which is obviously not good for health. Need to get my self together and get to a healthy weight.

One on CD1
And another CD21.

How have yours gone?

My first came back satisfactory and await the second on Monday. Hubby has his sperm analysis test on 10th.

When do you get your results for the first one ?

Hey I have been trying for over a year and I'm 33. been to the drs had blood tests that came back fine and partner had sperm analysis that came back fine. got our appointment at the hospital in a few weeks very nervous.

I've had my progesterone results back at 15 nmol/l

Im not sure whether this means i ovulated or not.
