I'm 5 dpo today and my temp dropped below the cover line. It's too early to be an implantation dip so I figure its a secondary estrogen surge. From what I read, that surge normally doesn't happen if your pregnant. Anyone got any insight?

Hi Tynmeg,

I get an estrogen surge about day 6 or 7 PO each cycle, it gives me EWCM. I had this both times I fell pregnant, so I don't think it has a bearing on whether you are or not.

Good Luck x

I think it's pretty common to get a secondary estrogen surge. There is also the possibility that it was just a bad temperature (slept with your mouth open, etc.)

Just thought I'd update this thread in case anyone else has this happen to them...
I got my BFP, 5 days later at 10 dpo. So the answer is No, it doesn't mean you're out at all. :)
