I'm thinking of trying LO on c&g comfort due to the painful wind he suffers from, as I've read it can help with wind. When feeding LO he stops a lot and arches his back in pain, so I burp him (which takes a while) and as soon as he's burped he's happy, but feeding time takes ages. I'm wondering if it's the milk making him windy as we've tried nearly everything. Any advice please?

sometimes it does take a while to wind a baby no matter what milk they are on hun. I used C&G Comfort on DD1 and it really did help massively. Have you found your LO is much better in the late afternoon evenings now?

No hes crying and arching his back at every feed even during the night. It can sometimes take over an hour to feed and wind him. I think I will give the comfort milk a go thanks hun :flower:

Our doctor told us that arching the back was a sign of reflux? Is ur lo sick alot? Im answer to ur question though id definitely give comfort milk a go. We put lo on aptamil comfort and shes been great on it!

No he's only ever been sick once and that was the day after he was born. I did think it could be silent reflux but as I said as soon as he's burped he's fine, so it must be wind. It's awful isn't it to see them in pain!

I've just started Harry on it due to wind and constipation. He was fussy for the first day on it, but pooed twice, burped and farted loads and is a happy little chappy now (so far) :haha:

Aw that's good news! DH is going to pick some up on his way home, did you just switch from one to the other? I was going to start him on it today. Also, we use medium flow teats, is this ok? Or will I need a bigger teat/ variflow?

We started using it last week. My baby had trouble bringing up wind and was always in extreme pain when trying to fart, but since he's been on the Comfort milk he farts like a trooper with seemingly no pain at all :haha: He does still have trouble bringing up burps but whereas he only used to poo every 3/4 days, he goes pretty much every 2 days now.

We switched straight to the Comfort milk from SMA Gold. It was nigh on impossible for him to suck through size 1 teats so we switched to size 2 but he still had trouble - we ended up putting some new holes in the teats with a pin, which seems to have done the trick. Saying that, he also has Infant Gaviscon in each of his bottles which may be why the teats keep clogging

I was on aptamil but changed to C&G comfort. What a change!
I also use dr brown bottles and gripe water! Brilliant stuff.

I use avent bottles with the variflow teats. He seems to handle it ok, but it is a bit fast! Took him nearly an hour to eat a 5oz bottle with the size 2's x

I've just bought c&g comfort yesterday, will be starting her on it after this tub of sma is finished (don't wanna waste it!) But also I bought dentinox drops yesterday and they have worked wonders already!

Well we bought the comfort milk and some variflow teats and started him on it last night and already I've noticed a big difference! He's feeding lovely, no stopping and crying in pain in between and he's burping and farting loads lol! Honestly i cant believe how much better he is with it! I am one happy mummy :happydance:
