Aaaaaah Im going mad. Jason just wont feed properly! He is normally on 6 ounces of extra hungry milk which he ALWAYS took every 2 hours, but he got poorly with a cold a few weeks ago, got over it and then cut his first teeth so as you can imagine hasnt been right.

He fidgets. Moving his head..pushing the teat out with his tongue and kicks and sometimes he cries. I know teething can effect him but I didnt think it would be so drastic. Im just so worried about him not getting all his milk and it confuses the hell outta me cos he still shouts for it but refuses it when i give.

Anyone else had this? Appetite seeming to go but still yelling for it?

PLease help!

(He is also getting weaned at the moment, he has one dessertspoon of cereal in the morning and then 1/3 small jar of meal and 1/3 fruit puree)

HIya, sorry I cant be a great help, but wanted to show my support!

COuld his rejection of the milk be because he's fuller from his food? COuld you try not so hungry milk? Perhaps he's more thirsty?

Perhaps the weaning section mummies can help?

xx

Teething can cause them to go off their bottles, have you tried a sippy cup instead? Messy but sometimes more effective when teething

Thanks! Will try the sippy cup idea probably next time he fusses. I jusr realized I posted this in the breastfeeding section! whoopsy!
