Is it a complete faux pas to put lace and chiffon together?

I dont think lace and chiffon is a faux pas, I think it will look lovely and the bolero is nice and delicate.
The only problem I see with it is where the straps of the dress will lie under it but thats something you can only see properly when you actually try it on i suppose x
