im thinking about getting this for my newborn!? (when they're here lol!) just wondering if it looks okay as it's obviously cheaper than some of the ones i've seen.

thank you :flower:

I dont think the ones like that on ebay are recommended, they are mass produced and poorly at that.

Keep your eye out for a 2nd hand one if cost is the issue, I'm not expert but brands to looks out for are babyhawk, frontbackandsides, freehand and thats only 3 I can think of but I'm sure someone more knowledgable will be along soon to help :)

I would spend a bit more on a carrier. I know they can be pricey, but you are putting the safety of your child, not to mention your comfort, at risk. So I would keep looking!! You have so many choices, and you can great a used carrier on a lot of babywearing sites, that are tried and true!! GL in your search!

I got an eBay one first checked it's stiching etc and it was
Fine as a starting point. I then upgraded to a babyhawk oh snap which I love. However I know some of the eBay ones are less reputable and there were reports if a few dodgy rip offs a while ago. I'd say if you like it try it and see how you feel. I'm not suggesting compromise baby safety but expensive is not alwYs best or guarantee it's good.

thats the brand I have... there Agnes brand.. they have been safety tested and are made professionaly in london. =/ im supprised people say they dont like it as its extreamly comftable, tripple stiched for strength and i like mine so much im buying another. my little mans very comfee in it and when my aunt comapred it to her more expensive mei tai its pretty much the same, there very safe in my eyes and i cant fult it.. =/ both my baby 3 months and my nephew whos is 18months have been in it. =S!

I have a limited edition Agnes Breastfeeding cover too.... they make there items so well.

@ tryingfora4th Agnes only make 10 or so of each pattern. and only 5-6 of there feeding covers. =/ they dont seem to be mass made.

Thats great then, if you can vouch for them and they are good quality thats fab.
All I was saying was there are alot on ebay of unknown origin and they might not be as good or as safe as well known makes and its always better to exercise caution!

oh tis fine =) I spent hours looking for the right mei tai in the end I went for one of them thinking, well its gnna be good or bad! and it was good =) Sorry if i offended you xx

For my next baby I want to get a Hop-tye mei tai. They have an adjustable panel so even newborns can be put in comfortably with their legs out. I read its better for their posture than be froggy legged in a MT. If you Google that one I think it's around £64.
