Does this sound like a miscarriage?

Sorry ladies, I am confused, I realise my figures are not good but the hospital haven't told me anything so I don't know if I am expected to miscarry or what is happening?

15th Dec HCG 43
21st Dec HCG 54

I know they should be higher but am I miscarrying?

Anybody have any ideas? Please

as the other poster said, may be helpful to know your lmp/how far along you are.

hcg doesn't increase the same rate with everyone so it may not be a bad sign that your numbers are low xxxxxxx

check this out - the ranges for each week are huge. If you are less than 5 weeks then your numbers could be fine

The honest answer is I don't know!
I have 28 day cycles. Had my period on December 8th as expected. But then continued cramping and started to bleed again the following Tues 14th. Friend suggested taking HPT which was positive.
I have no idea when I would have ov'd or caught. Drs are stumped too.
So you think if i'm REALLY early it could just need time? x

Have docs ruled out ectopic as your HCG rose slowly? In theory, it should double about every 2 days.

They don't really seem bothered about getting to the bottom of it tbh.

I went in last Weds with a GP letter as he suspected Ectopic but they haven't mentioned it since and I phoned EPAU yesterday in tears with stomach pain.

I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do really, my pain has subsided thankfully but I feel completely lost x

You really need to be v careful if you have really bad pains in case it is ectopic. Maybe go to a and e and they might refer you to the gynae ward.

I have been dealing with the Emergency Gynae unit, I seem more worried than they do tbh! They don't want to see me for another week. Everything I have read says to catch Ectopic early but nobody seems in any rush xx

Well so far I haven't had any more bleeding. Went to Emergency Gynae again today for more bloods and can phone them at 4pm for results - I guess I will know more then?
