Does this sound like my mucus plug (maybe tmi)

I had an internal exam on friday as i though my waters had gone lucky they hadnt and it was just a sever water infection.
Well this morning when i went to the toilet i notice a large blob of what i can only describe as looking like snot, however it was all brown and there was a but more when i wiped.
Does this sound like my mucus plug or is it something i should mention to my MW at my next appointment?

to me it sounds like your plug, but i'd tell your midwife next time you see her to be on the safe side
