dog owners who use advocate spot on??

This might be a stupid question but does it seem to spread all over your dogs fur where youve applied it?? Ive just given my pup his next one and its done it again, it really worries me cause I know were not meant to touch it and when I put it on and it spreads in his fur he shakes and wipes himself up against stuff so am worried my LO might come into contact with it tomorrow or something, I know it prob sounds stupid lol, but wanted tpo know if this is normal?? If not are there any other good worm and flea preventatives that arent spot ons or should I just pop in and ask my vet? Any help would be great xx

Hmm never really thought about it - it does go on the fur even tho i thoroughly part the cats fur! Im not sure hun but it does happen to me too xx
