Doggie question-grooming

Can dogs really enjoy those massive hair dryers being blown on top of them?

I went into our local groomers and noticed a small doggie in the cage after being washed with a massive hairdryer stand pointing into him, he was bunched right at the back of the cage looking like he was trying to get away, but obviously couldn't.

Are these dryers really ok/designed correctly?

I think my dog would hate that

Yeah there fine, I used to work at a groomers and it completely depends on the dog, some dogs just lie there and arent bothered by them and other are afraid on the noise, it only takes a couple of minute for them to dry anyway
