Hey

Has anyone gotten/getting married in the Dominican Republic?

Any advice, do's & dont's?

I got married in the Bahamas, but looked into the dominican. One thing that put me off was that you had to take a preg test!! (not sure how that works if you have kids already lol) & I think blood tests too before you were allowed to marry, and these needed to be done out there.

Ooo thats the first i have heard of that! My friends dad got married there 18mths ago, so i have been asking him a billion questions. I know that Turkey you have to do a blood test & you will be apart from your family for upto 48hrs as you have to travel so far (thats what the travel agent said) I will def double check for the Dominican tho.
