I know Breastfeeding can be hard, the cracked nipples, blocked ducts, babies not latching properly

But when its going well its great,
The way they stare into your eyes whilst feeding
The way when you first latch them on they roll their eyes back in pure bliss
The sigh's and little happy grunts they make as they start getting their fill
The way that last little drip of milk rolls down their chin when they finally let go half asleep

Youve got to love it when its going well

Another thing to add to your list - mid feed when he lets go, just to give me a smile. And how he strokes me and rests his hand on me.

yes it is great, my little one is nearly 1 yrs old now and she knows when she wants booby milk, it is sooo cute the way she cups my breast as tho she is holding a bottle lol.
I know i have to wean her soon, and that thought just makes me toooo sad the closeness i have with my baby is amazing.
If she is tierd, unhappy, poorly you can always garantee to comfort her, when on the breast.
good on you ladies for bf, i love hearing your stories...

Aw, lovely thread. Olivia makes my heart melt when she rests her hand on me. I also love her excited open mouth, wide eyes and wobbly head when she sees the boob coming during awake daytime feeds.
