Downloading my pic for avatar

I have been trying to download one of my pics for my avatar but each time I try it tells me there is a security token missing. How do I fix this?

try making the pic smaller, I think this often happened when the image is too large x

I'm sorry but I'm extremely computer stupid and could use some help with this. How do I take a pic and downsize it. I have this picture on my main harddrive, facebook and photoshop, so I have multiple locations to get it from just don't know how to downsize it and make it my avatar!!!

Open the picture in paint. On the tools bar at the top there is a resize option. CHoose 50 in both boxes instead of 100. that will make your picture half the original size then click save and wahla you're done !

EDIT: if it still not small enough repeat , do not lower number below 50 as you will end up with something itsy bitsy !!

Another easy way is to use either photobucket or imageshack both have standards avatar resize options.
