If ovulation occurs 24-36 hours after the trigger shot, then shouldn't we be waiting until 16 days past trigger(DPT)/ 14 Days past ovulation (DPO) to test? I have read that on average it takes 8-10 days for implantation (though up to 14 days is in the normal range also), and 3-4 additional days for most HPTs to register a positive reading after that. So I'm wondering if testing 14 DPO is counting out some of the slower moving eggies. I worry that by taking meds to induce a period at 14 or 15 DPT might be doing my body a disservice. What do you think?
