Ive just ordered 8 for Karl to see if they will help with his wind.
Ive been using infacol which doesnt seem to make any difference, and gripe water which calms him but doesnt seem to ease the pain.

He is also really difficult to get any wind off, ive tried every position possible..Soo anyone who has dr browns bottles?
Did they help your LO with wind?
And what were your good/bad points about them?

I don't have them, but my friend said they worked wonders for her little boy who really suffered bad with colic & wind. She was like you - tried lots of other stuff, and then finally tried Dr Browns......and said it was like magic!!!

Good luck, hope they work for you.

xx

I used them with Chloe and never had a problem with colic and wind. My cousin started off with avent and TT and had major problems with colic, she went to the Dr about it and he recommended the Dr Browns and she now swears by them, says the change was pretty much instant.

They can be a pain to clean but are worth it!!!!! Good luck x

Jacob was colicy from word go and i tried everything infacol, colief, changed milk went through 4 diff bottle and finally stuck with dr browns they help alot with it, he is still windy but no where near as bad, luckily the colic has stopped and we only get a bad episode once every 7-10 days or so (think this way cause of age and doc's changed milk) but the dr brown bottles helped alot to and we still use them now :) XXX

Oh bad point is the bloody cleaning it takes forever cause of all the compartments and now i can only fit 3 in my sterlisers at once (its not the dr brown one as i bought it before the bottle and refuse to buy another) XxX

I had them for Jasmine and they were fantastic, never had any problems with them, even the cleaning bit didn't bother me x

I have seen them... but all the little bits and pieces scared me away lol... I use the playtex ventair bottles and they seem to help, but Jasmine has never been that colicky, only when I changed her feed.

I've been using Dr.Brown bottles since the first day the girls came home and I wouldn't use anything else. We've tried other bottles, since I hate cleaning all the parts!, but I have yet to find ones as good. My girls have hardly ever been gassy and i've noticed that with other bottles when your babys sucking the nipple gets suctioned together, which I hate, but i've never had that with Dr.Browns. Very good bottles and totally worth the money!

Thats what i was worried about, i had the philips avent bottles so have that steriliser too, i dont wanna buy another one..but i have bought all of the dr browns bottle brushes so hopefulli cleaning them wont be that bad..thanks for the replies :) x

everyone i know swears by them so thats what ill be usin xx

I've used them since day 1 and have never had a problem with gas in Helena. I can fit 5 in my advent sterilizer.

i started using the doctor brown bottles as my baby was bringing up the whole contents of her bottle because she was burping loads.

i would recommend them to anyone they really are worth the money and the hassle of cleaning then, once you get used to it you get into a routine of how you clean them and it doesnt take that long

Hiya! we moved to Dr Browns when Daisy had colic, they worked wonders! But I started on Phillips avent too so I bought the avent iq steriliser. It takes a little bit more arranging but hey do still fit in it, best to do 3 or 4 bottles at a time instead of the 6.

Hope they help you xxx
