Drawing/colouring

Dec has never been a fan of colouring, he has always found it very hard to stay inside the lines, I know at almost 9 years old you would think he would find it easy but he just didnt have the concentration to do it, well that was until today

4 pics below are things he has drawn over the past few months, the first 3 are previous ones and the last one he done today He has never coloured any of his drawings before.

My eldest loves drawing too, but finds colouring in a bit tedious and boring, so usually she stops half way through!

My DS is also 9 and has no interest in art at all, he is rather like me and sticks to drawing at school only despite my efforts to get him to be more creative

Thanks everyone, he finds it hard to sit still but he enjoys drawing so much that he can sit for almost 30-45 minutes doing it

Wow they look fantastic

Until a few months ago Callum could only draw scribbled and didn't even attempt to stay inside the lines and just recently he has started drawing Mr Men and Oddbods etc

It's very exciting when they do something new especially when you never thought they would!

Declan has never coloured in any of his drawings, he just doesnt have the patience or concentration to finish such a task (suspected adhd) and to be honest he hasnt coloured another since this one lol
