For those already married - Where did you get your dress dry cleaned and how much did it cost?
I got married nearly 3 months ago and still haven't got around to getting mine cleaned! I just called my local dry cleaners and they don't do wedding dresses and when I've looked on the internet it seems really expensive. My dress cost £400 so I don't want to spend a fortune cleaning it, it's not like it was £4000!!

My friend had hers done in Morrisons (think they use Timpsons) and i'm sure it was about £50. They did a fab job.

I have just bought a second hand dress and it has a slight stain on it so once i have it from MiL 2 Bs then i will be tkaing it to be cleaned. Can let you know then but it won't be for a week or 2 :D

The woman making my dress and my bridesmaid dresses said not to bother getting them dry cleaned as it is such a rip off, instead she said turn it inside out, put in a pillow case and wash on gentle, then hang to dry :)

Ok great thanks very much.

Really! Mine has got some beading on it though and some actually came off on the wedding day so I don't know how safe it would be in the washing machine. To be honest I don't think the dirt on the underside of the train would wash out either as it's filthy!
